Royal Doulton “The Basket Maker” Collector’s Plate

A beautifully detailed collector’s plate from Royal Doulton’s Old Country Crafts series, featuring the charming scene of a traditional basket maker at work in a picturesque countryside setting. The artwork captures a craftsman weaving baskets alongside children, animals, cottages, and lush greenery, creating a nostalgic rural atmosphere. The reverse identifies this as The Basket Maker by Susan Neale, the sixth issue in the series, dated 1991 and presented as a limited-edition collector’s plate.
